Casa Verde Alpine Retreat sits on its own; a cosy, spacious, fully self-contained alpine villa set on 4.5 acres of private forest deep in the heart of the splendid Cradle Mountain wilderness region. It's just the place for you to relax, unwind, and take time out of a busy world.
Just a 20 minute drive and you're at Cradle Mountain/Lake St.Clair National Park. Casa Verde Alpine Retreat is the closest private single dwelling accommodation venue to Cradle.You won't be 'one of the 'Cradle crowd'. Casa Verde is your very own, exclusive and private place, away from the busyness of the tourist area.
Being centrally located at Moina, you will be in the perfect place to easily access many of the other wonderful natural highlights of the area including the Mole Creek Cave area, the Walls of Jerusalem, Mt. Roland, Lake Gairdner, the Forth River and the numerous other key attractions in this spectacular region.
Casa Verde Alpine Retreat sleeps up to 6 people. The spacious bedroom has comfortable queensize bed overlooking your own private forest. Two double bed-sofa beds in the living area can accommodate 2 other couples or an extra 2 people.
The elegant Oriental flavour of the bedroom decor creates a feeling of serenity and peacefulness. You can snuggle in bed and gaze out into the tranquil forest where you can observe the variety of birdlife welcoming the day.
Our kitchen area is a chef's dream! Our well appointed and fully self-contained, extensive and spacious kitchen facilities mean you can cook up a storm . You'll find all the comforts of your own kitchen here at Casa Verde Alpine Retreat.
And if you'd prefer, we can arrange breakfast and/or hamper starter pack of food to get you going, as there are no shops locally.
Stylish, colourful and tastefully furnished and with high gable ceilings, our living areas provide a feeling of comfort, openess and spaciousness. This is just the place where you can 'chill out' with one of our dvds, listen to your own music on our entertainment system, or simply relax and enjoy the forest from window views. And there's a warm, cosy and easy to use logfire heater which will heat the whole villa all night long.
Outdoor living on the huge front pergola area is just the thing for those long, balmy summer days and evenings. Relax with a glass of local wine and cheese and watch as the wallabies, wombats and other animals come out to feed and play once dusk arrives..
